Looking back to this playlist I made for two years ago, my taste of music was so messed up that I couldn't find which musicians could fit for me. At that time, I didn't know the soundtrack of Hotline Miami 2 OST or the synthwave music at that time.
At 2015, I was into New Order, Sade, Electric Light Orchestra, Michael Jackson, Kraftwerk, LCD Soundsystem, Kate Bush, etc.
Then the musicians outside of the mainstream were Vangelis, Toby Fox, Bing Satellites, Rush, Talking Heads, Tone Ghost Ether, Jan Hammer, Kelly Bailey, Underworld, Yes, Herb Alpert, Can, etc.
During the time I was making my short flash film, Kit Watkins, Altus and M. Persson Sounds were my favorite musicians. I could've placed some retro synth music after I could've known Scattle or Lost Years but I still love Altus' synth sounds.
I'll continue to listen to albums I've never heard from the 70s, 80s or at this 2010s era.
Electronic music is my favorite genre to look up some new musicians to have some references for my next personal movie project or something like that. If a song or an album sounds like Nickelback, Ed Sheeran, Disturbed, Borialis or DJ Tiesto, I get bored quickly.
